Moose had his three-year-old check-up at the doctor yesterday. He is developing very well, I got to check “yes” on all the little questions on the questionnaire.
Can he name a friend?
Um, yes he will not stop talking about his friend H.

Does he know he is a boy, and that girls are different?
The other day he told me that he and Daddy were boys, and that is why they eat more than me, because I am a girl, and I am small. Right.

Can he identify items in pictures?
He recognizes Meijer’s logo, and tells me every time he sees it that it is The Grocery.

50% of speech is intelligible?
I would actually say higher than 50%, but that might just be because he is my child!

Does he eat healthy and well-balanced foods?
Surprisingly yes. I changed my cooking so much when he started eating what we ate. He loves vegetables, and almost all meat. Of course, his favorite foods are hot dogs, macaroni & cheese, fish sticks, and chicken nuggets.

And just a few other things we discussed...
He is nervous of the dark. Moose will ask us to go back down the hall with him, and turn the light on for him. He sleeps with a Diego night light in his room. During the night he is just fine, sleeping all the way pretty easily, and rarely waking up.
Moose is potty trained, wearing underwear all day, even through nap. However at night we still wear a pull-up.
He can tell you his full name, mine and Cory’s. And Moose knows Scout and Bastian.
Height: 37” which is 25-50th percentile

They measured his head, but the nurse didn’t put it on the little sheet they give us. So I asked Doc F about it, so I could add it to our other Bobble Head Stats. She said that they usually don’t put the head stats down for three-year-olds anymore.
Then she looked at me and said, “...it’s safe to say since his head has been so large in the past, it is, still large...”
So, yes. Still got a big head.

Be... erm, nice. My fragile ego can't take too much honesty. Seriously though, I do love comments. Please tell me what you think!
