Moose and I spent Sunday afternoon making Peanut Butter Fudge (recipe coming soon!) and decorating a gingerbread house. I bought a set at Michael’s that included everything we needed-the house pieces were already baked and ready, and it had frosting and candy pieces.
I figured Moose would not enjoy waiting while I stuck the house together, so I put it together during his nap, and by the time he was up, it was ready to be decorated.
I may have had a glimpse of how hard it is going to be to sit back and let him do his own school projects and such. All I wanted to do was make it look perfect like the box-but all Moose wanted to do was stick on the candy!
So we compromised, and I did one side while he did the other. It was really a fun activity that now we can set on the table until Christmas Eve!
So the majority of the time I sat beside him and dutifully dabbed frosting on each candy piece so he could stick it on. He had a blast.
Get your own gingerbread house here. And I also saw some at Meijer and Kroger. On a similar note, they have a VERY COOL Halloween version that I am dying for. Hopefully I can pick one up around that time of year next Halloween.

Be... erm, nice. My fragile ego can't take too much honesty. Seriously though, I do love comments. Please tell me what you think!
