Just a little bit of a bunch of stuff to share, so bullet list it is!
- •I had to sew Doggie’s tag back on. Moose sat beside me and watched me carefully make all the stitches to keep his favorite part of Doggie secure. The silly thing still barks, even though it’s been washed umpteen times.
- •Work has been absolutely crazy, which has wreaked havoc on my basic plan to Do Nothing for the next couple weeks.
- •Moose has been trying our patience the last couple days, especially at night-night time, often calling for me and asking for stupid things for up to a half an hour after we leave him in bed.
- •He also has been waking up in the middle of the night for the fabulous reason of: he wants a hug. Right. The walking mommie zombie who stumbles into his room does not like to hear that. Also? The sleeping daddie zombie who doesn’t even stir when Moose wakes up is equally annoying.
- •I am a world-class peanut butter fudge maker. I have made two batches that should have set some sort of record they were so good, and I have made two batches that stayed in soup form, and the most recent batch that turned into granite and may have just ruined one of my pots. I am perplexed. And... annoyed, I don’t like failing at cooking.
- •Moose brought home pink eye to us. And by us, I mean me, because Cory would not catch a germ if he tried with his immunity of steel. It’s okay, Cory has assured me pink eyes are sexy.
- •We have watched Rudolph, Frosty, and the Grinch 1.02 billion times, and Christmas is still weeks away. I own Frosty and Rudolph, but we are watching Grinch on DVR. I need to remember to catch Charlie Brown next week, so we watch that a few million times too.
- •We are the only people on our court that have Christmas lights up. THE ONLY ONES. Seriously. Down the street however, they must be having some sort of competition, because the lights, blow up dolls, and animated light-up deer are taking over.
- •Speaking of lights, I had to replace my lights this year, so Cory recommended we make the switch to LED lights. This will save energy, and supposedly last longer. My colors are red, gold, and green (yeah, I know, I like to shake things up obviously). So I got white lights. Then I plugged them in and they are not white. They are center of the sun bright white lights. Almost blue. They do not match the red, green and gold. So I am switching to silver and blue. It has been an arduous task. I have big plans, to have my skinny tree upstairs, and decorate it to match everything. Then, have my larger tree downstairs have all the family ornaments and stuff on it. But, not this year. Cory is still fiddling with downstairs.
- •Speaking of Cory, he found a Mark VIII engine for my Mystic. We are dropping it in tomorrow. I am so excited. Optimistically it will be drivable in a week or so! He also found a interior guy who may be able to recover my seats inexpensively. My impressive stick-shift lessons were thwarted by ice and snow last week, so that is on the horizon when it clears up a bit.
- •I helped Cory work on his Coup a few nights ago, we put on torque box stiffening plates. Yep. I totally know what that is. It is is what it sounds like, it stiffens everything to keep it from coming apart. I am not entirely sure how he feels about me helping him in the garage to be honest. It might be intruding into the Manverse.
- •My kitchen is so close to done I can taste it. The only thing left is the splash guard above the counters. I have the tile picked out, but I want to wait until January for money issues. December is hard around here with my birthday, taxes on my car, and Christmas. If you are clever you can see pieces of the kitchen in photos, but nothing in total. I want to wait until it is complete before I put pictures up.
- •I’ve found a new author that I love. Joe Beverly writes about the Company of Rogues in Regency England. Wonderful stories, with rich characters. I am working my way through the Rogues during the evenings while Cory plays Xbox, as usual.
- •Speaking of Xbox (I told you I had lots of little stuff to share) Cory bought a TV. Yes another one. It is a monstrosity that he put downstairs, and he relocated his Xbox downstairs as well.
- •Moose needs new underwear, do you think it is okay if Santa brings underwear? Yeah, I don’t either.
- •That’s all for now, it’s night-night time. Pray it goes quietly...

Be... erm, nice. My fragile ego can't take too much honesty. Seriously though, I do love comments. Please tell me what you think!
