I realized when we had the baby that he would eventually, you know, grow up and stuff. But he is turning into such a...like, person. He looks like a kid now, not a baby anymore. He eats table food, and only has one bottle before bed. He has likes and dislikes. He loves Scout, and hates hamburger. (God help us, it's all we eat, hopefully it's a texture thing that he'll get over!)
I am excited about every milestone he reaches, but all the things he leaves behind, make me a little sad. I realized today that some of his toys are for little babies, and he doesn't want to play with those, he wants big boy trucks and Lego's. I guess I should sell the old things, get some new stuff, and get over it. But I can't help but feel a bit sad. But happy. You know. We had a lazy weekend. We watched a movie on Friday night because Cory had to work Saturday morning. Saturday evening, M&D watched Moose so we could visit our second home, Lowes, and the mall. The mall was PACKED with annoying ass teenagers. I really hope I wasn't that annoying when I was that age. Probably was.
So we got some great stuff at Lowes, a really cool thing that I will photograph in use when the weather changes, (don't want to spoil it) and some super-cool fluorescent lights that we had to have for the garage. (you can now operate on an ant in there, it's so bright) And Cory is happy to report that we have cleared out the garage so that he can park his Mustang in there. Cici pointed out that it's been about twenty years since there was a car parked in there! (they used it for storage and at one point it was converted into a bedroom)
We also got A NEW MAILBOX! Which Cory and everyone else I've told has totally not been as excited about it as me. It's AWESOME! It's PLASTIC, SO IT WON'T RUST! I'm pumped about it, and I picked out some cool numbers to stick on it.
Every time we go to Lowes we kind of walk around every aisle and think, "oh the possibilities!" We have so many great plans for the house, it's overwhelming. One step at a time. Or rather, one purchase at a time!
We actually have more furniture on order, (yes, I know we made our salesguy's month) so that will be here soon. I am also waiting on an airport card for my Mac so that I can post upstairs in the living room, not here downstairs in Cory's dungeon, no wait, office. I would also like to say that I will probably post more often when I can post upstairs! At least, like, twice a week, maybe more. I mean, you guys can only look at so many pictures of Moose, right?
We are heading to Wisconsin next weekend so the post should be late, but picture-filled!

He IS getting sooo big!! It is crazy how fast time goes! One thing never changes though, he's as cute as ever!!!
How would have EVER thought that Lowes/HomeDepot would be visited more than Coach & JCrew! I guess we're really grown ups!

Be... erm, nice. My fragile ego can't take too much honesty. Seriously though, I do love comments. Please tell me what you think!
