Call Me Mack Daddy...er Mac Mommy

Mack Daddy: A mack can be a person who is smooth, slick, the best of the best, a pimp, a ladies man, the guy who runs everything a.k.a. the Boss.
Mac Mommy: cyber-cool mommy who gets to work at home now cause her boss is AWESOME.

That's right. I got my mid-year evaluation at work today. The timing was horrible. I missed two and a half days last week because Wes was sick! And I just told my boss I was going to be having surgery, and I would be out for a week! Thought I was going to have to start packing my bags.
It all seemed to work out though. I got an excellent evaluation, and I now have permission to work from home! When Wes can't go in to daycare, I can now work from home while I take care of his exploding butt. Which is GREAT.
Not only that, but my boss gave me my old computer to use for home, and bought me a new one for work!
Getting my Mac home was daunting. My boss loaded it into my car for me. Then I drove home at like, 20 miles per hour because I was terrified I was going to wreck and mess up my computer. (does insurance cover things IN your car too?)
Wes is still getting over the poo illness. It's much better, but he still can't go to daycare. Cory stayed home with him today while I went back to work. I called him a few times to check on him, and he sounded a little stressed, but otherwise, I think the day went smoothly. So since Wes is still having poo issues, I am staying home tomorrow with him, and hopefully getting some work done. We'll see!
