Fun Sunday Afternoon

We decided to purchase a pool today at the grocery. It is pretty cool. I filled it with air and a little water, then we had lunch while it warmed up. After we were coated suffiently with Baby 50 SPF PAPA-Free, Tear-Free, everything Free, nothing's gettin' through this stuff, sunblock, we headed outside. And then the sun promtly went behind a cloud.

Here we are, easing him into the water. He did just fine, I was ready for him to scream the second cool water touched his feet, but he splashed around and played a bit.
We're not supposed to get his head super-wet because of the ear infections. So we just propped up and splashed a bit.
Here is Cory's foot, to prove he was there. He just didn't want to get in yet!
After about 30 minutes we went back inside to feed Wesley his afternoon feeding. Then we laid him down for a nap, and came back outside to play in the pool! We both fit laying down in it, and it came with a nice cover! I was pretty pleased with the purchase. It was only $20! Totally recommend it to Charing, Mimi, and Jenn. They had some really cool ones that were bigger and had slides and stuff, but Cory convinced me that those would be better purchased next year, when Wes could actually sit up and stuff. Probably a good point.

My Baby Einstein play center came in. Here are a couple videos of Cory showing Wes how to use it, he absolutely loves it now. Almost as good as the Baby Einstein Videos. I ordered them all, that's right, I have 21 DVDs being shipped to us in 10 to 14 days. Pretty excited about those.
