We woke up early on Sunday morning for Wesley's Baptism. At St. John's United Church of Christ at 9:30 AM, our baby boy was Baptised Wesley Ray Brooks! We are so thankful to God for our healthy baby boy! We are so lucky and blessed.

We named my cousin Sarah as Wesley's godmother.

Here is the Brooks Ross families.

Here is the entire Brooks clan.

We named Cory's brother Kyle as Wesley's godfather. We made him an offer that he couldn't refuse. (Okay, did you think I could get through this post without referencing The Godfather?)

Here is our family including both sets of grandparents.

Here we are posing with Rev. Mike Heath.

After the Baptism, we hung out at Uncle Matt's until it was lunch time.

Mmmm baby feet.

For lunch, we went to the Pizza Hut Italian Bistro. Their Pizza Hut is so different than ours! It is an extremely nice place, and they happen to be the top five Pizza Huts nation-wide! All in our little Monroe with a population of around 11,000!

Here's the crowd all together.

Here's me and my parents, sorry it's blurry.

After lunch, we met up with the rest of the families so they could meet Wesley at an open house at my in-laws' house. It was a beautiful day, as you can see. However, their house is on top of a hill, so it was incredibly windy!

Here me and Cory are about to jet off on the 4-wheeler. There weren't too many trails to take, but we had fun playing.

After the open house we opened a few gifts. Here Wesley is with Spidey, a new toy from his godmother. Spidey is already turning into a favorite toy!
On Monday morning we headed back to Kentucky. The drive was pretty slow, we passed the time by talking about absolutely everything! Wes was very good most of the drive. He fussed a little bit, but Jenn and Sarah brought their DVD player for him to watch Baby Einstein videos. Wes is still rear-facing in his car seat, so they couldn't see the video. The second time the played it for him, he was still fussy. We couldn't figure out what was wrong with him! Jennifer said that he seemed sooo bored. Then Sarah realized that the same little piece of music was repeating over and over...that's right, they forgot to hit "play". Wesley had been watching the unmoving selection screen on the video for about 20 minutes! Poor thing. That was pretty much it, the drive was mildly uneventful.
We had such a good time in Wisconsin. Sarah and Jennifer cannot wait to come back. I have a confirmed invitation from them for the next Cheese Days! The Brooks family will be back to visit for the week before Christmas!

Be... erm, nice. My fragile ego can't take too much honesty. Seriously though, I do love comments. Please tell me what you think!
