Cory's First Father's Day!

Wesley got his Daddy an orange Philli Eagles hat, and a Eagles sleeper for himself. The hat matches the pink Eagles hat that Cory got me for our May 5th anniversary (the day we met) (don't make fun, we still celebrate it). I had know idea they made them in so many colors! As soon as Wes saw it, he knew his Daddy had to have it. Orange is Daddy's favorite color!
Here is Cory talking to his Dad, Jerry, in Wisconsin. So we technically have three generations going on here!
We had a good weekend. Not too much going on. Friday we stayed in, got chinese delivered, and watched a movie that I can't remember, so it was definitely not a memorable event.
Saturday Cory and I went to a cookout at our friend Greg's house. Sarah was able to watch Wes for us. She ended up over at Charing's and Wes and Carter played together all night. The cookout at Greg's was filled with people I didn't know-which was odd, normally I know everyone there. But we made some new friends that are in a local band here. I think their band is OK but Cory loves them. I had a few too many drinks and we ended up leaving a little early.
Sunday we hung out all day. I ran to Wal-Mart to pick up a new "jumperoo". Our current jumper was wreaking havoc on our doorframes, and something had to be done! So I ended up getting yet another device to take up space in our living room. I did sort of re-arrange since we're getting rid of the swing. I have a ton of stuff to take to the consignment shop.
No more new syllables, and he has only repeated "Dada" a few times. I am trying really hard for the "Ma", but he thinks it's halarious when I try to make him say it.
I did get my bridesmaid dress for Sarah's wedding. And it's beautiful! Extremely sexy and flattering. It's entirely backless. A pretty brown color with ivory accents. I'll have Cory take a pic for you to see. I still have to have it altered, it's too long of course. It is very "Sarah"!!
And speaking of Sarah-our Vegas trip is entirely planned, and paid for! I am so excited. We are getting to do everything I wanted to do too! I have never been, so it will be a blast. Four days! We're going in July.
