Wes had a six-month check up at the doctor today! He has almost totally caught up with the "normal" end of the growth chart.
Height: 24 5/8" which puts him in the <5 percentile
Weight: 15 lb. 1.5 oz. which puts him in the 10 percentile
And finally, wait for it...
Head size: 17 1.8" which puts him in the 25-30 percentile!
Holy crap, do we have Daddy's huge head genes to thank, or is my Shepherd huge head genes? I guess we'll never know, but we do know that Wes has a large head! Luckily it looks normal.
He is also teething! Very early too, preemies normally don't start to get teeth until they are 8 months! So we are pretty early on that! Otherwise very good and on-schedule with developement.

It was great to get another photo so quickly. In less than two weeks he will be here. Be warned that I am ready to hold him "a bit."
