Happy 1/2 Birthday Wesley!

We decided to throw Wesley a 1/2 Birthday party on his six month birthday! It was a chance for my mom's friends to meet Wes, and for a few of my friends to see him for the first time! I decided to do a Care Bear theme, so we had a Care Bear cake and some stuffed bears around for decorations!
Mom's friend Theresa brought her new grandbaby along for the party. Here is Wesley and Kensie meeting for the first time.

The birthday boy got tuckered out towards the end of the party, and decided to take a little nap in his bouncer.
Here is Sarah and Carter having a little icing. He really liked it too! We started fruit this weekend. We tried peaches in this picture. A few weeks ago he started opening his mouth for the spoon! It was very exciting. Funny how that's "very exciting", but trust me, it's thrilling!
This Sunday is my first Mother's Day. A very special day! Cory did absolutely great. He and Wesley got me a beautiful bouquet of roses, and a beautiful ring. I decided that taking a picture of the ring might be tacky-so here's a description: it's gold of course and the stone is Wesley's birthstone which is Citrine. (it's a goldish yellow stone) It is a squared stone with rounded edges. Very pretty, and very special since it's Wesley's birthstone!
We don't have much planned for today, since yesterday was so busy with the party. Just planning to hang out a bit. Wesley's 6 month well-vist is on Tuesday, so I'll have stats for you then on weight and length and such.
Also, I didn't get very many pictures of everyone at the party! Sorry to everyone whose picture is not here!
