Poppin' the top off. Hmmm, I like this gooey stuff...
All done!
Good news... we're finally crawling! FORWARD!
I can't catch him on video yet. He's too fast. He doesn't quite have it down. He will go a short distance for a toy, but he hasn't quite figured out that he could go across the room.
More good news...he's learned to self-feed! For months we've been putting the fruit poofs in his mouth and trying to get him to do it. But he has finally figured it out. He was stuffing them into his mouth today. Plus we switched to chunky food. Which he loves, and eats the whole jar! Which I couldn't believe, cause the 3's are huge jars!
Scout lying patiently in wait, for the food to hit the floor. She loves the fruit poofs too.

We're all doing really well. Moose is still stuffy, but I think the ear infection has cleared. We have a doc appointment this Tuesday to discuss the tubes. We'll see how it goes.
Daycare has a Halloween party scheduled for Monday night. We are planning on going, it's after work. There's games and crafts and treats for the kids. Should be fun.
I am pretty sure the reason Moose is feeding himself and crawling forward is because of being in the toddler room. I think they are working with him more in there. Fab.
Tuesday Cory goes to Chicago for training. He won't be back till Sunday which means I'll be a single mom for almost a week. Pray I have a happy healthy baby the whole week. Tuesday we are going trick-or-treating over at my mom's and maybe a few of my friends' houses so they can see his costume. I'm keeping it under wraps until the big night. I'll post the pictures that night hopefully, or the next.
Moose's first birthday is in two weeks and I have the invites all ready to send out, I am picking up stamps today and mailing them tomorrow. Several people have asked me what to get him as far as gifts, so here's a few ideas:
Moose is in the tail end of 12 months clothes so if you want to get him clothes, please get him size 18 months, and of course, for cold weather.
We own all of the Baby Einstein videos, but he LOVES Baby Einstein toys. They have them at Wal-mart and ToysRUs.
He'll be learning to walk soon, so those toys that babies push around would be nice. Just look at the recommended ages on the corner of the box, anything over 12 months would be appropriate.
He loves to be read too, so board books are great ideas too.
Care Bears, Elmo & Big Bird, and Pooh, Blue's Clues, Thomas the Tank Engine
Just ask if you have any questions!

Be... erm, nice. My fragile ego can't take too much honesty. Seriously though, I do love comments. Please tell me what you think!
