As you know, Wesley had a double-ear infection last Monday. So he's been on an antibiotic to treat it. On Wednesday evening he had the worst smelling, largest, grossest diarrhea he has ever had. If you had asked me before, I would have told you, "sure he's had diarrhea before. No big deal." Um, no. Nothing like this. Horrible. So I cleaned him up, fed him, and we put him to bed. I was concerned he would have it again in the middle of the night, so I checked him several times. But he was fine. Then next morning, he had an equally gross diaper. So at this point, you are thinking, "so take him to the doctor". But I didn't want to! I really KNEW it was because of the antibiotic he was on, I knew they would be able to do anything, right? So I took him into daycare, and thought, "have fun with that exploding butt, guys..."
So I got the call around 11 AM to come and pick him up. Apparently, his butt decided to explode a few more times. Three more times. On two of his teachers. So on my way to pick him up, I called the doctor, talked to the nurse and she confirmed my suspicions, that it was probably the antibiotic. So we went home and I tried to feed him some rice. The nurse had said it would add a little substance to his poop. That's nice.
Unfortunately, he did not want to eat anything, so when I tried to force a few spoonfuls in his mouth (you're hungry dang it, EAT!) he threw up. All over me, the high chair, floor, and kitchen table. He started to get a little fussy at this point. So I decided all that could be done was a nap. So he went down fine, and I started yesterday's post. In the middle of my post, my phone rang. It was Cory telling me that SOMEONE WANTED TO VIEW THE HOUSE! Right, for two weeks now not one person has called, but the day when baby stuff is everywhere and Wes and I are home SICK is the day someone wants to see the house.
Of course I couldn't pass it up, so I packed up Wes and some toys, and some food, (surely he'll want to eat NOW) and we both just wore our PJs over to my Mom and Dad's. I tried to feed him again, and he wouldn't take anything! So I called the doctor and they said to come in.
Remember I'm wearing pajamas? Yeah.
Needless to say, we got a few looks from people in the parking structure at the docs. (actually kind of similar to a look I might have given someone in their pajamas at a hospital with a crying baby about a year ago) So we saw Dr. Feese and she says that indeed the antibiotics are causing the poo, but his ear infection is also getting worse. So we have stopped the antibiotics, and we have had two shots, one yesterday, and one today. And we get another one tomorrow!
Wesley's absolutely pitiful. I feel so bad for him. Today so far, he wasn't interested in eating anything but his bottles. Though I was just able feed him some squash, his favorite, and a bottle. So hopefully this poo will work itself out of his system soon, because we're on our fifth sleeper.
I can't get any pictures to load today! Sorry, I will try to load some soon.

This entry seems like one better off without pictures!
Ha, ha! I have to agree with Lisa, no pictures is fiiine with me! Poor Wes, all those shots! I hope he's feeling better soon. Did you hear anything from the people who looked at your house? I really like the new layout. The colors are great! I am wondering about "Lizzybee", where did this nickname come from?
Yes, I was also wondering about Lizzybee! I LOVE the new layout. I feel so bad for Wesley! I hope he is back to his smiling self again soon!

Be... erm, nice. My fragile ego can't take too much honesty. Seriously though, I do love comments. Please tell me what you think!
